The secular phenomenon of blasphemy has always been a topic of rare historiographical interest, in fact, for modern Italy the scientific contributions are very lacking although the peninsula is the geographical area where the most frequent use of blasphemy as a daily refrain, language interlayer,
often paradoxically used by the same diocesan clergy.
