I am interested in post-humanities, relational ontologies, and multi-species ethnography. My research looks at Sherpa’s cultural geography and epistemic space by focusing on the role of local systems of beliefs and Himalayan cosmologies in the co-construction and negotiation of space together with other earthbound. By exploring the natural cultural borderlands, the analysis may highlight how environmental knowledge are produced and accepted as truths and how communities codify and understand their relationship with the non-human world.
