Marina Bondi
Marina Bondi is a Full Professor in English Language and Translation since 1999 at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, she has been Director of the University Language Center, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Philosophy, Department Director and she has been the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Humanities from 2017 to 2024. Author of about 150 publications, she collaborated with numerous international journals and have lectured and given seminars in several countries (France, Switzerland, Germany, England, Spain, Holland, Finland, USA, China, Vietnam, Australia) and founded an Inter-University Research Center CLAVIER (Corpus and Language
Variation in English Research), which she directed for ten years. Her research activities are mainly within the framework of discourse analysis and communicative genres in institutional, academic and professional communication contexts, including from a cross-cultural perspective. She studies in particular the impact of new technologies on communication and issues related to knowledge dissemination.
