Pacini’s research focuses on the relationship between classical Sanskrit and Chinese Buddhist literature and nowadays ecological and environmental studies, with the aim of devising new ways to correlate the important ‘dependent arising’ construct -as understood throughout the long reception history of the Śālistambasūtra – with the contemporary environmental crisis.
