The project investigates, through the edition and study of the two Latin translations of the humanistic era Ma’arekhet ha-‘elohut, differences in approach to the text and
translation methodologies of two Christian-humanistic intellectual circles interested in Kabbalah: 1. the one animated by Count Giovanni Pico della Mirandola; 2. the one linked to Cardinal and Augustinian Egidio Antonini da Viterbo.
