Francesco Clementi

Francesco Clementi is Full Professor of Comparative Public Law at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, where he also serves as Director of the Master’s program in Electoral Sciences and Government. His academic and research activities focus on Italian, comparative, and European constitutional law, with particular attention to the forms of state and government, political parties, and electoral laws. He has extensively studied rights and freedoms, especially the rights of assembly and association, as well as the constitutional experiences of countries such as the United Kingdom, France, and the United States, alongside the evolving constitutional framework of the European Union. His work also includes research on the relationship between law and religion, including Vatican law.
