Daniela Scialabba

Daniela Scialabba is Associate Professor at the Pontifical Biblical Institute of Rome, scientific coordinator of the Historical and Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint, and a researcher at FSCIRE. She is a member of the executive and the nominating committee of the International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies (IOSCS) and of the scientific editorial board of the international series Septuagint and Cognate Studies (SCS). Furthermore, she is chair of the Hellenistic Judaism Unit of the International Society of Biblical Literature (ISBL) and a member of the steering committee of the Biblical Lexicography Section of the Society of Biblical Literature. Her research deals with the Old Testament (Hebrew and Greek) and Jewish literature in Greek. 

Her latest book is Creation and Salvation. Models of Relationship Between the God of Israel and the Nations in the Book of Jonah, in Psalm 33 (MT and LXX) and in the Novel »Joseph and Aseneth«,  Mohr Siebeck, Tübingen, 2019.
