

Maria Clara Rossi is Associate Professor of History of Christianity in the Department of Culture and Civilization at the University of Verona. Her research fields are ecclesiastical institutions and religious life in the Middle Ages, the religious life of women, the history of adoption and foster care in the Middle Ages, and the history of assistance and medieval leprosaria.
She is member of the management committee of the Rivista di storia della Chiesa in Italia and of Quaderni di storia religiosa medievale.
She is member of the SISF and CISF.
