

Roberto Lambertini is Full Professor of Medieval History in the Department of Humanities at the University of Macerata. His research interests focus on the intellectual history of the 13th–15th centuries. He published essays on the history of medieval political thought, on the history of the Mendicant Orders (in particular on the Order of Friars Minor) and on the relationship between their educational systems and medieval Universities (specifically, Bologna). He is director of the Centro Interuniversitario di Studi Francescano and a member of the Steering Committee of the Società Internazionale di Studi Francescani. He is also a member of the Società Italiana degli Storici Medievisti and of the Société Internationale pour l’Étude de la Philosophie Médiévale.
