

Giancarlo Lacerenza is Full Professor of Biblical and Medieval Hebrew Language and Literature at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”.
He is a member of the scientific board of the Historical Lexicon of the Jews in Italy at the Golden-Goren Diaspora Research Institute in Tel Aviv and the scientific board of the PhD in Jewish Studies at the University of Bologna. He is also associated with the Ambrosian Academy, Class of Jewish Studies; with the Pontanian Academy, Class IV History, Archeology and Philology; with the European Center for Studies on Humanism; and with the Aragonese Renaissance. He is a scientific director of the Venosa Project.
