

Alessandro Ferrari is Professor of State Laws and Religions as well as Comparative Law of Religions at the University of Insubria (Varese and Como) and is also Director of the University’s research Centre (REDESM). He is an associated member of the Group Sociétés, Religions, Laïcités (CNRS Paris) and of the Unité Mixte de Recherche: Droit, Religion, Entreprise et Société of the CNRS in Strasbourg. He is a coordinating member of the network Plateforme universitaire de recherche sur l’islam (PLURIEL) and a member of the steering committee of International Consortium for Law and Religion Studies (ICLARS).
