

David Durisotto is Associate Professor of Law and Religion as well as Canon Law at the University of Cagliari. Among his main fields and research interests are the issues of privacy linked to religious freedom, the relations between the Vatican City State and the European Union, the specificities of marriage and family relationships in Islam, conscientious objection and the consent to medical treatment. He participated in PRIN research on Islamic communities in Italy (2011), coordinated by Prof. Carlo Cardia of Roma Tre University. He collaborates with many class A scientific journals as a member of editorial boards and as a peer reviewer.
