

Paolo Cozzo is Associate Professor of History of Christianity in the Department of Historical Studies at the University of Turin. He is interested in the history of ecclesiastical institutions, the history of the clergy, the history of sacred spaces, the history of cults and devotions, and the history of religious life from the 16th to the 19th century, with particular attention to the relationship between politics and religion in the ancient régime state.
As of 2019, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Rivista di Storia della Chiesa in Italia; as of 2017, he is a member of the Scientific Board of the series Plus Ultra – Studi di Storia; as of 2020, he is Director of the Scientific Board of the series Chiese d’Italia; as of 2021, he is Member of the Board of Directors of the series Sacro/Santo.
