

Alessandro Capone is Associate Professor of Ancient Christian Literature at the University of Salento. His research interests focus on the manuscript tradition of Greek authors, the reuse of the Latin Classics in early Christian Latin literature, the polemics against the Pagans and against Christians, the problems related to the development of the heresies, especially Apollinarism, of 4th/5th century, and finally the correspondence between philologists at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
